These terms govern use of the DPLIGHT B2B trade platform. They apply to company and individual buying-account applications, product browsing, orders, payment evidence and related services.
1. Buying accounts
Company applicants must provide accurate company and contact information and be authorised to act for that business. Individual applicants must provide accurate personal contact information and act in their own name. DPLIGHT may verify either type of applicant before enabling trade ordering or approved prices.
2. Electronic transactions
Submitting an application or order, uploading payment evidence, or otherwise confirming an action electronically records your instruction. Account, email, order and audit records may evidence the transaction.
3. Products, prices and stock
Images and specifications assist purchasing. Confirmed quotations or orders control where details differ. Prices, taxes, delivery charges and availability may change before confirmation; obvious errors may be corrected.
4. Orders and payment
An order number does not by itself confirm payment or dispatch. Use only payment details published through DPLIGHT's official channels. Uploaded evidence is reviewed against the receiving account before approval.
5. Delivery and inspection
Delivery or pickup terms follow the confirmed order. Customers must provide an accurate address and inspect quantity, packaging and visible damage promptly on receipt.
6. Cancellation, returns and warranty
Cancellation, returns, replacement, repair or refund depend on order status, product condition, agreed commercial terms and applicable Ugandan law. Custom or processed goods may be restricted.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use the platform for fraud, impersonation, malicious uploads, unlawful trade, infringement or attempts to bypass access controls.
8. Account security
Keep passwords and verification codes confidential and notify DPLIGHT promptly of suspected unauthorised access. A company is responsible for its authorised users; an individual account holder is responsible for activity performed through that account.
9. Service availability
DPLIGHT takes reasonable steps to maintain the service but internet, banking, email, logistics or other third-party services may be interrupted.
10. Changes
Material changes will be identified by a new version and effective date. Existing confirmed orders are not changed retrospectively unless required by law or agreed by both parties.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda. The parties should first try to resolve disputes in good faith; the final court or arbitration forum will be specified after company legal review.
12. Contact
The legal entity name, registered address and formal support contacts are being confirmed. Until then, use only the support channels published inside this platform and do not send money using details received from an unverified person.
This is the currently published version. A new version will be issued when the legal entity, formal contacts, retention schedule and dispute forum are confirmed; historical consent records will be retained.
